Overview
BluePeak Advisors, a Division of Gallagher Benefit Services is a consulting organization that specializes in providing compliance and operational consulting to MA-PD Plans and other ancillary providers and delegates. While much of the work is audit-based and focuses on the CMS Program Audit process and protocols, BluePeak also supports many other project-based process improvement initiatives that assist Plans, delegates and ancillary services providers in achieving operational compliance.
How you’ll make an impact
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Medicare Star Ratings Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Medicare Star Ratings, with a particular focus on strategies to close gaps in care. This role involves working closely with healthcare providers and organizations to improve their performance in Medicare Star Ratings, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes and optimizing reimbursement.:
- Consultation and Strategy Development:
- Provide expert guidance on Medicare Star Ratings, including the methodology and metrics used to evaluate performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve Star Ratings, with a focus on closing gaps in care.
- Analyze current performance data to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
- Client Engagement:
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, payers, and other stakeholders to understand their specific needs and challenges related to Medicare Star Ratings.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate clients on best practices for improving Star Ratings.
- Ability to problem-solve in ambiguous situations and apply knowledge and experience to make decisions and recommendations for client business problems.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor client progress and performance against established goals and benchmarks.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to communicate progress and outcomes to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date with CMS regulations and guidelines related to Medicare Star Ratings.
- Ensure that all recommended strategies and actions comply with current regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations in the approach to closing gaps in care.
- Share insights and best practices with the broader team to enhance overall service delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare consulting or a health plan, with a focus on Medicare Star Ratings.
- Strong understanding of CMS regulations and the healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of successfully improving Medicare Star Ratings for healthcare organizations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
