Tami Geroski, MHA, CHC, CHPC is a Senior Consultant with BluePeak Advisors, a division of Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc. With over 30 years of experience in managed care, including 19 years in government programs (Medicare and Medicaid), she has a broad range of experience in regulatory compliance and healthcare operations, advising health plans on regulatory guidance, compliance programs, auditing, delegate oversight, as well as day-to-day operational management concerns.

Prior to joining BluePeak, Tami worked at a commercial health insurance plan and then at a first-tier entity that supported government programs on behalf of multiple Medicare and Medicaid health plans. After starting her career in the Legal Department and Operations, Tami moved into Compliance where she has held different Compliance lead roles, including the Vice President of Compliance, and fulfilled responsibilities as the Privacy Officer and Stars lead. She was responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Medicare Compliance Program and lead the teams responsible for regulatory guidance interpretation and implementation, issue resolution and CAP development, compliance monitoring, vendor oversight and corporate compliance.  She supported the development of contractual requirements for client, FDR and provider agreements.  Through her career, Tami has supported numerous regulatory audits including state, OIG, and CMS One-Third Financial and Program audits.   While her primary expertise is Compliance Program Effectiveness (CPE), she has experience Part C Organizational Determinations, Appeals, Grievances (ODAG) and Medicare-Medicaid Plan Service Authorization Requests, Appeals and Grievances (MMP_SARAG).

Within BluePeak, Tami offers support to the compliance team by actively supporting clients in CMS CPE Program Audits, mock program audits and compliance assessments. As the primary account manager for a diverse array of clients, encompassing SNP and MMP of various sizes, her primary focus is ensuring the effectiveness of client Compliance Programs (CPE) by providing regulatory and CMS guidance interpretation covering risk identification and mitigation strategies, compliance program planning, delegation oversight support, and corrective actions.   Tami also supports the development and review of marketing materials including ANOCs and EOCs for multiple plans and conducts delegation oversight assessments.

Tami holds a master’s degree in health care administration and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from King’s College, complemented by an associate degree in paralegal studies. She is an active member of the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) and holds certifications in Health Care Compliance (CHC) and Health Care Privacy Compliance (CHPC).
