Lisa Cook is a Health Plan Services Consultant with BluePeak Advisors, a division of Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc. Lisa has been working in customer service for over 20 years and has been actively engaged in the day-to-day operational details of Medicare Advantage since 2019 and has expertise across all customer service operations, including staff training and development, Part C and Part D call center monitoring, enrollment, claims and provider processes, compliance protocols, and regulatory compliance and reporting. Lisa has supported and participated in an array of projects including call center implementation and organization, staffing, training and development, special projects, and reporting. Lisa has over two decades of managing operations through private corporations, education settings, and health insurance plans.

Prior to BluePeak Advisors, Lisa worked for a regional Medicare Advantage company that expanded nationally, where she was responsible for all member and provider call center operations and oversight, compliance, quality assurance, monitoring, and reporting. This position integrated her into all areas of the Medicare Advantage Plan including claims, enrollment, appeals and grievances, quality, medical management, pharmacy, provider relations, sales, and marketing. In addition, Lisa served as the Subject Matter Expert for the CMS Timeliness and Accuracy and Accessibility Studies and performed all training to staff and leadership. Lisa has also held positions in public school systems and private corporations for executive-level operational development, diverse project management, software implementation, system testing, and training development programs.

At BluePeak, Lisa serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for Part C and Part D Customer Service Call Center and the CMS Timeliness and Accuracy and Accessibility Studies. Lisa is also the BluePeak University (BPU) Administrator for our computer-based training program and serves as a Project Manager on client mock audits, audit support, assessments, as well as supports clients with interim staffing projects. Using her prior experience, Lisa also works as a SME on marketing and communication projects.

Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
