Keri Steege is a Senior Consultant with BluePeak Advisors, a division of Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc. and is an experienced Managed Healthcare and Compliance professional with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. Keri has exceptional business and analytical skills employed in creating efficiencies, establishing and implementing robust processes and programs. She has extensive experience in Medicare compliance and operations, program implementation and audit across Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug Plans and Employer Group Waiver plans.
At BluePeak Advisors, Keri specializes in compliance program effectiveness and operational compliance, including end-to-end process review, writing policies and procedures and developing and performing oversight and monitoring for all operational areas. She has expansive knowledge with submitting initial (new) and service area expansion applications for Part C, Part D, Employer Group Waiver Plans (EGWP) and SNP contracts. She is also experienced with creating robust auditing, monitoring and delegation oversight programs for Medicare Advantage Organizations. In addition, Keri has a broad knowledge and experience in performing gap analyses, evaluations, risk assessments, and developing and implementing compliance and delegation oversight programs for Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug Plans and Employer Group Waiver plans. Keri also has experience with building and delivery of training to staff of all levels and well as establishing quality assurance programs.
Prior to joining BluePeak Advisors, Keri served as a Medicare Compliance Officer for a Managed Care Organization that was part of an integrated delivery system. In this role, she was responsible for plan-wide compliance. She performed compliance activities including oversight and monitoring of all operational areas, managed audit activities for internal and first-tier, downstream and related entity vendor audits, building of a complete compliance programs. Keri also served as a consultant for a related entity company and worked with clients to stand-up new Medicare Advantage Plans from the application to the launch of the product and everything in-between.
