Matt Siuta, PharmD, MBA, RPh, is a pharmacist and Senior Health Plan Services Consultant at BluePeak
Advisors, a division of Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc. With over 13 years of experience in Medicare and the Part D program, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge in Part D operations, focusing on formulary administration (FA), medication therapy management (MTM), coverage determinations, appeals and grievances (CDAG), improper payments, and pharmacy practice.
Before joining BluePeak, Matt served as a subject matter expert for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), where he played a crucial role in auditing Part D sponsors. In his role, he completed Medicare program audits for FA and CDAG as well as leading the review of sponsors submitted pharmacy
documentation to determine improper payments.
At BluePeak, Matt excels in providing comprehensive support for Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and commercial plan issues. As a key member of the Part D team, he is instrumental in guiding health plans and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) through complex regulatory landscapes, ensuring compliance and effective benefit management. His expertise spans CMS program audits, formulary administration, and the intricacies of coverage determinations, appeals, and grievances. With a focus on operational and clinical excellence, he collaborates with clients to implement strategic initiatives that enhance quality and streamline pharmacy-related operations. As a trusted advisor, he plays a pivotal role in supporting CMS audit processes and facilitating successful product offerings across various healthcare platforms.
Matt holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Illinois. He is a registered pharmacist in Illinois.
