Emily Pfister, CCA, PMP is a Senior Health Plan Services Consultant at BluePeak Advisors, a division of Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc. With 18 years of health policy and Medicare experience, Emily lends her expertise in Part D operations and Compliance, specifically in leadership, project management and Medicare Operational teams including claims management, compliance, delegation oversight, plan finder, adjustments, claim reporting, and PDEs.
Prior to joining BluePeak Advisors, Emily worked as a manager of IT project management at a pharmacy benefits management company where she was responsible for the strategic direction of the IT strategic projects and initiatives for all lines of business. In her role, she successfully completed the implementation on numerous Medicare and non-Medicare IT initiatives including but not limited to the redesign of PDE, claims adjustments and other online reporting projects.
At BluePeak, Emily serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on Part D Medicare, Compliance, Medicaid, and self-funded plan issues. Emily is the primary account manager and contact for multiple clients of varying sizes, and her focus is on Compliance and Pharmacy-related operational related issues. Emily serves as a primary SME for CMS audit support for Formulary Administration and Compliance Program Effectiveness. Emily is part of the BluePeak project management committee and advises and trains other SMEs on Part D and Compliance. Emily also supports clients with operational health plan implementations and interim staffing opportunities.
