Ronald Hays is a Health Plan Services Consultant with BluePeak Advisors, a division of Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc. He brings to BluePeak and its clients 20+ years of pharmacy industry knowledge and data management experience. This experience includes data intake and standardization, dispensing environment experience (retail, LTC and mail-order), e-prescribing and drug product development and management, claims and benefit data analysis and management.
Prior to joining BluePeak, Ronald was with Reed Elsevier’s Health Sciences Division for 10 years, holding various positions and responsibilities. This role included managing their Drug Product Image Database for the Reed online product Clinical Pharmacology, and managing a Retrospective Drug Utilization Review (RDUR) program designed to inform and educate provides regarding best practices for prescribing behavioral health medications.
More recently, Ronald held the position of Pharmacy Manager, Reporting and Operations, for a Medicare Part D Pharmacy Benefit Administrator. This role allowed Ronald to utilize and expand his data management and process improvement skills into most facets of Part D benefit administration, monitoring, reporting and auditing.
Substantial elements of Ronald’s roles and responsibilities throughout his career have leveraged his expertise related to data intake, evaluation, standardization and management to meet regulatory reporting requirements. He brings a solid background in process evaluation, improvement and creation, GAP analysis, and implementation of efficiency and effectiveness measures to BluePeak’s clients.
