Drew HamiltonDrew Hamilton, MBA


Drew Hamilton is a Health Plan Services Consultant at BluePeak Advisors, a division of Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc., and is based in Hartford, Connecticut.  Drew has more than 25 years of consulting experience with health insurers and industry solution providers.  Drew has proven experience with Commercial and Medicare/ Medicaid health plan operations, from procurement through back-office operations, and associated system transformations.  Drew’s health plan experience, coupled with his ability to manage complex business change, allows him to effectively team with clients to develop and deliver solutions specific to their business needs.

Prior to joining BluePeak, Drew held the position of Principal and COO at an elite consulting firm. In this role, Drew scaled the consulting service model and offerings as the firm experienced growing demand for tenured talent.  Drew’s primary focus over his 11 years was on managing and supporting delivery of client engagements within the health payer sector of the industry.  He provided clients with experienced healthcare professionals who had the ability to deliver better results at a better value; without the typical leveraged pyramid model.

Previous to this, Drew held the position of Senior Manager within another consulting firm’s Health Payer practice.  During his 14 years, Drew led the solution design and implementation of multiple outsourced Medicare Advantage operations.  Drew developed and implemented compliance program and audit readiness plans for these operations, and deployed extensive controls focused on maintaining operational compliance with CMS regulations.  He also served in the role of Medicare Compliance Officer for an operation’s team supporting a large national payer.

Drew received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Saint Michael’s College and received his Master of Business Administration from Clarkson University.
